The Turin School of Regulation is a private, independent non-profit think tank, founded in 2012 on the initiative of Fondazione per l’Ambiente Teobaldo Fenoglio Onlus. As a research institute we perform research on the culture and instruments of regulations and regulatory reforms and we promote international high level research, education and capacity building experience.
The School adopts a policy oriented approach and connects academic research with local policy-makers, public officials, professionals, local regulatory agencies, NGOs, consumers’ associations, chambers of commerce.
MISSION
The Turin School of Regulation (TSR) is a network school without hardware facilities, but building on a fruitful idea instead: focusing on aspects of regulation and governance of public services and bridging the gap between the academic research and the local decision-makers. The mission of the school is to develop and nourish a vison and a capacity to read transformations and trends in order to better understand the processes that are shaping our society.
NETWORK
Since its creation the TSR counts on network of professionals, academics, experts in regulation and environmental issues, and local policy and decision makers with extremely different backgrounds. The national and international scientific network has developed and grown over the years, constantly aligning with the main topic analyzed.
