Full professor of Economy and firm Management at the East Piedmont University. He is Director of the Department of studies on firms and territory and since 2000 manages the Research Centre HERMES (at Real Collegio Carlo Alberto, Moncalieri – TO), for the study of local public utilities. He participated for the Ceris-Cnr in a number of research regarding the financial structure of the big industrial firms in Italy. In recent years he has worked mainly on the local public utilities through studies and empirical research on costs dynamics, efficiency performance, productivity after deregulation and privatisation process.
